I believe that every child deserves to live a safe, healthy, happy and meaningful life.

I recognize that in the United States of America a case of child abuse is reported every 10 seconds.

I recognize that in the United States a child runs away from home every minute of every day.

I recognize that 13 children die on the streets of America every single day.

I commit to being vigilant against child abuse and the resulting problem of youth homelessness.

I pledge to TURN PURPLE with STANDUP FOR KIDS this April to assist in creating a culture that does not tolerate the mistreatment of children or the rapid growing youth homeless population.
